The United States Senate took a vote last night on whether or not to take up a bill that would stop the flow of tax dollars to Planned Parenthood. Supporters of the measure needed 60 votes in order to move forward. They only got 53. Every single Democrat except one followed the leadership of Harry Reid to keep the money flowing to Planned Parenthood.

Everyone had clear knowledge Planned Parenthood leaders callously talking of harvesting body parts of aborted babies. There was clear knowledge of the company that made millions in the trafficking of body parts. There are serious questions raised about the fate of those babies who refused to die inside the mother’s womb and came into this world fighting for life.

Planned Parenthood pays exorbitant fees to public relations firms to spin their lies of helping poor women. The reality is that their practice is a charity in name only. They have honed their lobbying skills to perfection and look for opportunities of new revenue streams for their agency of death.

These latest videos show that they view women as little more than a billable commodity. They treat the innocent, precious, defenseless, life that is filled with potential as if it was a spare part to be salvaged from an old lawnmower.
Every Senator knew what was taking place. This is not about politics and polls. Each Senator made a conscious, willful, decision with his or her vote.

The prophet Isaiah delivered a word from God to the people of his time about the same kind of behavior.

Woe to those who enact evil statutes
And to those who constantly record unjust decisions,
So as to deprive the needy of justice
And rob the poor of My people of their rights,
So that widows may be their spoil
And that they may plunder the orphans.
Now what will you do in the day of punishment,
And in the devastation which will come from afar?
To whom will you flee for help?
And where will you leave your wealth? (Isaiah10:1-3 NASB)

Some may read this and mock and laugh. You do so at your own peril. This is no laughing matter. There is a God who is sovereign and involved in the events of mankind. He has given plain warning that cannot be ignored.

The people of Isaiah’s day ignored the warnings. They would not connect the dots. They were later overrun by the Assyrians.

Planned Parenthood plays word games when they say that the federal funds they receive are not for abortions or trafficking of baby body parts to the highest bidder. We know what is going on. The Senators know what is going on.

My fellow preachers, you had best heed the call and point out what is going on. You need to be explaining clearly to your congregations what is happening by telling the truth about the politicians and the parties that enact evil statutes and those who, with a wink and a nod, allow them to be enacted with little protest.

You need to be naming names. You need to be explaining how failure to register to vote and to vote only serves to enable evil and challenge every eligible member of your congregation to vote. You need to be fearless in the face of those who fear the IRS more than they fear God.

I will close saying this as plainly and clearly as I know how. Connect the dots and repent.
