How to Win the Showdown with Obama

A vivid memory sticks in my head from my childhood days. I was learning to tie my shoes. I watched my mother tie them with ease for me. Now she was teaching me to do it myself.

Orientation for Newly Elected Senators

Thank you to all the veterans of the armed services. Also thank you to the many restaurants who give a free meal to veterans today. These free meals are not government sponsored, taxpayer funded programs.

The cost of these meals come off the bottom line of these restaurants. Show them your appreciation for saying thank you to veterans by dining with them throughout the year.

Tomorrow newly elected members of the US Senate and US House of Representatives go to Washington, DC for orientation. I have already started collecting bottled water for David Perdue. Continue reading

A Different Mindset for Senate Leadership

Barack Obama threw down the gauntlet with his, “make no mistake about it.” The people of America picked it up and ran it through his policies and Harry Reid as chief obstructionists.

Last night Georgians and the rest of America rallied behind the Republican candidates to deliver a clear and unmistakable message. The key to understanding this rally is that word, “candidates.”
