What a great day for the United States! Our space program is back!

I joined millions of Americans to watch the NASA/SpaceX launch. What a sense of pride when I watched Crew Dragon lift off.

President Trump was there at Kennedy Space Center. He is only the 3rd sitting US President to attend a space launch in person. He is the first US President to attend the launch of an entirely new program.

President Trump led America to reclaim our leadership in space. President Obama and Democrats abandoned America’s leadership a decade ago.

We were told that America could no longer afford to explore space. American astronauts were forced to ask Russians to take us to the International Space Station.

Something special happened for America today. When the engines ignited, Crew Dragon launched the renewed dreams and aspirations of a new generation of Americans.

Today is just a part of what President Trump meant in 2016 when he ran to Make America Great Again. We are well on the way. Now it is time to work together to help Keep America Great.
