Don’t Eat the Rat Poison – Go Vote

Legendary Alabama coach Nick Sabin often warned his players not to eat the rat poison. That is, do not grow complacent and believe the perception of easy victories.

Rural Georgia must heed that same advice. We look around here and see a conservative people with conservative values.

Then we watch TV and see a crazed national Democratic party. We cannot imagine how anyone could possibly vote for the direction they want to take this country.

No one around us thinks that way. If we go by our perception based on looking at our neighbors, a conservative win is a slam dunk. That’s rat poison and it will kill you.

If you grew up in Georgia, be assured that the Georgia today is not the one you grew up in. Rural Georgia reflects those values, but the vastly populated urban areas hold opposite values.

What does that mean to us? It means that we in rural Georgia have to turn out a higher percentage of votes in order to have any hope of overcoming urban Georgia.

Congressman Austin Scott was at a meet and greet with US Senate candidate Mike Collins at Leger and Son offices this week. Austin shared with us some points of what the left has already done – not just what they want to do.

Tell me as you read through this list ask yourself if these reflect your values or the values of your neighbors. These are actual expenditures made under the Biden administration.

Let this sink in. They were made with the full support of Senator Jon Ossoff.

$425,000 to train Indonesian cafe baristas on how to be more “gender-friendly”

$25,000 for a drag show seminar in Ecuador.

$65.7 Million to pay for vasectomies in the Congo.

$55M to “strengthen” Libya’s financial management process.

$37.6 Million to services catered to transgenders and sex workers in South Africa.

$15 million for condoms for the Taliban.

$14.8 million for Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transexual/Queer (LGBTQ) leadership in Cambodia.

$850,000 for a transgender job fair in Bangladesh .

$2 Million for sex-change surgeries in Guatemala.

If you have had your calculator going, you see that the total expense just for this handful of projects came to $191,400,000. That is not what is going to happen if Democrats win. That is what HAS happened.

In the Senate race, keep this in mind. Jon Ossoff approves these radical expenses.

He may have helped you through his constituent services but what he might have “saved” you personally, he multiplied that in wasteful spending. While giving you a dollar with one hand, he was reaching into your wallet and cleaning it out with the other hand.

It all comes down to one key question for you. Have you voted?

This will land in your inbox on Saturday morning. Early voting is open for business today from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You have time to do it TODAY.

Don’t get complacent and eat the rat poison. You have got to go vote.

Vote for Rick Jackson, Mike Collins, and every Republican up and down the ballot.

Don’t eat the rat poison. Go Vote!
