Repulsed by Romney

Mitt Romney is repulsive. I woke up during the night with memories of the Romney bumper sticker that I had on my car when he was running for President. Can I sue him for fraud for accepting my campaign contribution?

Some may wonder why, after announcing that I am running for Congress, that I would even take the time to mention Romney’s vote to impeach. Some would advise me to leave it alone.

I’ll tell you why. It is politicians like Romney that are why we have had three years of Mueller and the impeachment travesty.

After hitting multiple grand slam home runs in President Trump’s State of the Union message, we should have had a lopsided majority vote to acquit. Instead, Democrats stayed in lock step.

Some wondered if Doug Jones of Alabama would cross over. He did not. (We will see Alabama Roll Tide to wash him far out of office in November.) Neither did Manchin of West Virginia who was covered with hugs by his fellow Democrats.

Why did they not cross over? Mitt Romney said that he would vote to impeach. That solidified the Democrats. They wanted to have the headline that Republicans broke rank. Romney gave it to them.

Jeff Flake did it to us in the Kavanaugh hearings so Romney had to do it in the Senate. Can Utah recall him and send him back to Massachusetts?

Conservatives have got to win big in November so that Republicans in the Senate won’t have to depend on the likes of Romney and we can fire Pelosi, Schiff, and every Committee Chair in the House. I am doing my part in the 2nd District.

I can’t accept just any old money that comes in. There are rules, and we won’t skirt them. So here’s the legal stuff:

Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contribution exceeds $200 in an election cycle.

I certify that the following statements are true and accurate:

  • I am a U.S. Citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident
  • This contribution is made from my personal funds, not from an account maintained by a corporation, labor union, or national bank, and is not being reimbursed by another person or entity.
  • I am not a federal government contractor.

The maximum amount an individual may contribute is $2,800 per election. Your contribution (up to $2,800) will be designated for the primary election. The next $2,800 will be designated for the general election.

Thank you again for reading. Some of you have been reading my stuff for years and I really appreciate it. Some are new because of my decision to run for Congress to represent the 2nd District of Georgia.

More commentaries are coming and the campaign team is working on the campaign site even as I write. May God bless you. Thank you again!
