This Cannot Continue

“This cannot continue.” Three simple words from Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger pushed my button.

According to Epoch Times , on June 14, Raffensperger opened an investigation into Fulton county because they could not produce 19,000 chain of custody forms. Here is the full quote:

“New revelations that Fulton County is unable to produce all ballot drop box transfer documents will be investigated thoroughly, as we have with other counties that failed to follow Georgia rules and regulations regarding drop boxes. This cannot continue.”

New revelations? The Georgia Star News filed an open records request on December 1, less than a month after the election. Fulton County responded that they would have them by January 19.

Where has Rip Van Raffensperger been all this time? His office had more clout than a private citizen filing open records requests. Why was he not demanding these documents from Fulton County?

He did not have time to bother with Fulton County because he was too busy investigating Coffee, Grady, and Taylor Counties. The total votes in each of these rural South Georgia counties was less than the 19,000 chain of custody forms missing in Fulton.

Then he closes his statement with, “This cannot continue.”

Hey, Brad! Wake up! That is what Georgians have been shouting at the top of their lungs since election night.

All we have heard from your office is that this was the best and most secure election ever. Do you think that if you say it often enough it will be true?

Meanwhile, we await a thorough forensic review of Fulton County ballots as Fulton County attempts to have the case dismissed. Garland Favorito and a group of private citizens carried the ball on this with nothing but resistance from you until they finally won the case.

Now I am concerned about the protection of those ballots. You need to ask Governor Kemp to give you State Troopers, National Guard, and GBI to lock down that warehouse.

Governor Kemp, if Raffensperger does not ask for the help, then I ask you to be creative in the authority you do have. Maybe have a Disaster Recovery drill and demand that Fulton County provide that facility for the exercise.

You can set up an operational Georgia State Patrol and GBI headquarters in and around that building next to those ballots for a few weeks. After all, the Fulton County management of the 2020 election was a disaster and continues to be. Yeah, I said that.

Secretary Raffensperger, we agree on one thing. This cannot continue.
