If you are like me, you are tired of the negativity and name calling in this runoff for Governor. I offer to you in this post something positive with no name calling, no ridicule, just my reasons for supporting Rick Jackson and asking you to vote for him as well.
One factor that has hardly been mentioned is that Rick’s company is regularly listed in the top 100 places to work in America. His employees give an astounding 90% approval rate. That speaks to positive leadership. He will bring that leadership to Georgia.
Since Rick announced I have written several articles about his candidacy. I’ll make this easy and put all the articles in one place here on one blog post. What you will find are positive, reasoned, no-spin, cases for voting for Rick Jackson for Governor. They are all easy to read and free of name-calling, judgmental, negativity that you are tired of.
One other thing for the record – in case anyone is wondering. I do not get paid by Rick Jackson, his campaign, or any other group for writing these articles. I do so because I believe that Rick Jackson is the best candidate for Governor and want to persuade the persuadable to agree.
My first article came out right after he announced. Rick Jackson – He is for Real – here is where I share his background and overcoming of disadvantages that few of us have ever faced. What he has done with the deck that he was dealt is an amazing story.
In Powerful Biography in a Campaign Song, I review the campaign song for Jackson for Governor. Many campaigns have a song or jingle that goes with the campaign. This one is a biography of Rick’s life and his overcoming mindset, in particular his walking himself to church at five years old.
In A Reasoned Response to an Attack on Rick Jackson, I respond to the first negativity of the campaign where Rick was accused of doing business with Planned Parenthood, doing transgender surgeries, and providing hormone care for transgender care in prisons. All of these claims are completely false. This is where the negativity in the campaign began with an attack on Rick Jackson.
In Why Rick Jackson Will Win in November, I give five reasons that I believe Rick Jackson can win in a general election. The five reasons all start with the letter “S” so they are easy to remember. His Story, his Sincerity, Swing Voters, his Salesmanship, and his Servanthood.
In Setting the Record Straight on No-Bid Contracts – I address a false ad that implied Jackson was defrauding Georgians through no-bid contracts. I point to a case of State of Emergency in 2017 when a bridge fire destroyed a portion of I-85 in Atlanta. A No-Bid contract was awarded, and I-85 was reopened in an amazing 43 days. The same state of emergency conditions appeared in 2020 when Governor Kemp called on Rick Jackson to help address the COVID crisis. One point that is not in the article is that Jackson’s fee was only 1.5%.
In Setting the Record Straight – Again – I address yet another false ad that accused Jackson of Medicare fraud. In this case a company where Jackson placed a physician came under DOJ scrutiny for fraud. Jackson actually helped DOJ when he learned how the scam operated.
Finally in Gambling – the Silent Issue in the Governor’s Race – I point out clear policy differences where Jackson will not advocate for an expansion of gambling activity and Burt Jones has promoted legislation to expand gambling in Georgia.
If you are one of the undecided and trying to make a decision, I hope that these blog posts help you come to a decision to cast your vote for Rick Jackson.
