He carried a secret. Some of those around him knew his secret but they stayed silent about it. If he had been found out, he could have lost his job and even his very career. It could lead to an ethics investigation, possibly even criminal charges.

Observations on the Runoff

Georgia Republicans finally arrived at the completion of what will probably go in the history books as the most grueling nomination process in Georgia history. It Can’t Be Business as Usual

On September 3, 2013, I sent out my first e-mail introducing David Perdue. Throughout this long campaign and all that has been said, the basic point of my message has not changed. It can’t be business as usual. My original opinion that David Perdue is the right man for the right time has only been strengthened over these months.
