Don Cole Kicks off Conference Call Tour of 2nd District Counties

Covid-19 may have brought traditional campaigning to a grinding halt, but it hasn’t stopped me. I eat problems for breakfast.

On Tuesday, my campaign kicks off a conference call tour across the 2nd District. All you need is a telephone to make a simple call to (508) 924-1857 at the scheduled time to connect with your county.

From Tuesday to Thursday, we will touch each of the 29 counties in the 2nd District. I’ll take a few minutes to talk about what is going on with the campaign. Then I want to hear from you because my campaign is all about you.

The late House Speaker Tip O’Neill said, “All politics is local.” Common sense tells us that “local” means Southwest Georgia and your county.

Unfortunately for us, Sanford Bishop’s idea of “local” is Nancy Pelosi’s office and the swamp in Washington, DC. We do not have a voice in Washington to represent our values. I will be your voice.

We held our first pilot call last Wednesday with Baker, Grady, Decatur, and Mitchell. The call went great with positive feedback on how simple and clear the call was.
