Over the past few days I have talked, mostly by phone, with many people. There is no question that what we are experiencing today is unprecedented. 

When I make calls now, I introduce myself, and say that I’m calling to say that I’m praying for them and their community. I don’t ask for anything. I don’t even ask for their vote.
